OPPORTUNITY: INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

LOCATION: Jasper, Indiana
INDUSTRY: Distribution, E-commerce, and Third-Party Logistics

Stac is a full-system integration and material handling company that specializes in designing, implementing, and installing innovative material handling solutions tailored to the manufacturing, distribution, and e-commerce markets.  We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our growing team.  This position’s primary responsibility would be to support our outside sales team by assisting with quoting, processing orders, overseeing vendor relationships, working with freight companies, and helping with other sales-related/customer responsibilities.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in sales or sales administrative positions. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support our outside sales team basic quotation activities.

    • Track quotations, assist with follow up, and track success.

    • Assist with vendor orders, order tracking, order delays, change orders, and keeping orders on time.

  • Oversee freight program to ensure effective costing to move product, includes interpersonal skills to building and maintain strong relationships with carriers and brokers.

  • Outbound calling to set meetings with prospects and customers.

  • Assist with sales data tracking as they pertain to company leads, product categories and brands.

  • Regular communication with vendor partners to ensure proper pricing, lead times and development of promotional programs.

  • Assist in executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets.

  • Social media prospecting

  • Collaborate and help management track process around sales-related activities.

  • Work within our systems and collaborate with team members to continue to develop and align its capabilities within our growing business needs.
